Dr. Nate Tomcik is a clinical psychologist and Division Director for Outpatient Behavioral Health at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in Columbus, Ohio. He specializes in the treatment of military veterans with complex trauma and is board certified in couple and family psychology. In addition to his work at the VA he maintains a private practice where he provides treatment for adults, couples and families. In addition to RO-DBT he is trained in ACT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy. He was awarded the VA Secretary Hands and Heart Award for his work in promoting person centered and recovery oriented mental health care for veterans and in 2018 awarded Public Sector Psychologist of the Year by the Ohio Psychological Association. His primary clinical and research interests involve the dissemination of evidence based behavioral health treatments to improve access in underserved communities.
